From the purest of luxury silks, handpicked organic linens, premium sustainable fabrics and many more. We as a brand ensure our customers are catered to with utmost diligence and impeccable quality. When it comes to our products, we did not want to present only the high quality of materials but also narrate the craft and refine caliber that goes in the production of premium fabrics.
It all started in 2022 when Ms. Aditi Punwatkar wanted to expand her capabilities after working in the finest MNC’s for a few years. She’s an MBA graduate with a major of Operations and Supply Chain Management with a minor in Marketing. One of her main objective while working in Corporate was to provide strategic and end to end sourcing for some of the biggest deals in Australia-New Zealand regions as well as in other international markets. On her trips to the North-East of India, she observed the local artisans’ communities in Assam, Manipur, West Bengal and Tripura, processing the silk yarns, dyeing them with natural pigments and weaving their craft so skilfully, it left her raptured. She decided to take on the challenge to provide the most luxuriously premium silks and related Indian origin premium fabrics ever known domestically as well as in the international markets.
In this journey, her sister, Ms. Padmaja Punwatkar joined hands to tackle gaps. With her being a graduate in Hospitality and Management sector, she’s also a writer. Having protocol experience with customers, gave her psychological perspective to look at the business in a different way. Both of them have spent years familiarising themselves with the local craft and patterns of regions, weaving techniques, understanding of designs, colours, textures and adapting sustainability for conscious fashion. Both of them decided to honour the company under their mother’s name and also the director, Mrs. Minakshi Punwatkar. She is a graduate in B.SC in Microbiology and also holds B.Ed. Being the Secretary and leading Mahila Samiti community, she has hands on expertise on organising and management of events, maintaining finances, handling social pages and conducting social work campaigns amongst other duties. With Minakshi being the Director of the company, Aditi and Padmaja always aim to bring something out of the ordinary to align with the modern world.
